What is a Claude Skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md file that tells Claude how to handle a specific kind of task. Once it is added, Claude picks the right skill when you describe what you are doing. You do not have to name it.
Do I need HyperOrbit to use these?
No. They work in any Claude plan that supports skills, in the web and desktop apps and in Claude Code. You bring the data by pasting or attaching it. Downloading a skill does not create a HyperOrbit account or start a trial.
Why do you ask for my name and email?
So we can send an occasional note when a skill is added or changed. You are asked once per browser; after that every download on this page is direct. No sequences, and your details are handled as the privacy policy says.
Will Claude make up competitor facts or numbers?
The skills are written to prevent it. Every competitor claim needs a source and a date, counts come only from what you provide, and missing information is marked as a gap instead of filled in. Review every output before it reaches a customer or a prospect.
What should I give it to get a useful answer?
Real inputs. Raw tickets rather than a summary of them, the actual pricing page rather than your memory of it, a transcript rather than “the call went badly”. If the input is thin, the skill asks one focused question before it writes anything.
Can I edit them?
Yes, and you should. Add your battlecard template, your theme taxonomy or your ideal customer profile. Each file is plain text.
How is this different from the HyperOrbit agents?
A skill works on what you paste, when you ask. Chorus and Recon run continuously on your connected sources, and each passes what it finds to the other, so a competitor launch is checked against customer themes and a customer complaint is checked against competitor moves without anyone asking.
